Hydrobarp Care® 1K Anti-Bacterial Water Base Wood-Finish Topcoat.

Hydrobarp Care® 1K  water-based coatings have no pot life which therefore removes problems associated with traditional 2k solvent-based polyurethane products. Hydrobarp Care® 1K water-based coatings can be applied by spray, roller or brush, this ensures you have an easy application process of choice.

• Hydrobarp Care® is a water based mono-component coating designed for interior use with a sanitising effect and is ideal for use in Hospitals, Nurseries, Schools, Restaurants etc.
• Hydrobarp Care® contains effective Anti-bacterial, Anti-fungus and Anti-viral properties: ISO-22196, UNE-EN 15457 (Aspergllus niger, Penicillium pinophilum, Salmonella thyphimurium, E.Coli, Staphilococcus aureus)
• Hydrobarp Care® 1K can be hardened (10:1) with K0362 Hardener to improve the product’s chemical & physical resistance.
• Ideally suited for MDF furniture and carpentry (wardrobes, shelves, wood cladding, boards, etc.)
• Matt or semi matt finish.
• Beautiful silky touch feel.
• Can be thinned with clean water 5-10%.
• Touch dry 40 to 60 minutes depending on thickness and temperature with total hardening 90 to 120 min depending on thickness and temperature.
• Choose from 1000’s of colours from the following standards: NCS, RAL, BS, F+B, Colortrend.
• Water base for low odour and low toxicity.
• High covering power.
• High level of hardness and physical resistance.
• Good thixotropy which facilitates vertical application.
• Ideal for varnishing indoor furniture and woodwork.
• Short drying times.
• Unlimited pot-life – subject to correct storage.
• Non-flammability.
• Can be force dried using hot air blowers or infra red heaters.
• Available in 750ml and 4lt sizes.

*** The Anti-Bacterial effectiveness tests of Hydrobarp Care® were conducted in an agro-food laboratory (CITA-CTIC) and they show an effectiveness higher than 99% for each of the following microorganism in compliance with the ISO 22196 and UNE 15457 norms: Aspergllus niger, Penicillium pinophilum, Salmonella thyphimurium, E.Coli, Staphilococcus aureus.
