Viterfloor400 is a solvent-free, two pack epoxy clear primer/sealer for concrete floors. 

Features and use

Axalta ViterFloor 400 SF Floor Primer/Sealer is a two pack epoxy, solvent free clear primer/sealer for concrete floors.

• A clear primer/sealer for new and old concrete floors
• Use as a primer/sealer under ViterFloor 300 and ViterShield GPL, and as a clear sealer for bare concrete floors to prevent dusting and dirt contamination
• Resistant to water, oils, chemicals and weak solutions of non-oxidising acids, alkali and salt solutions
• Resists temporary splashes of oxidising acids and bleaching chemicals
• Can also be used as a ‘filled primer’ for holes and cracks in concrete floors
• VOC free
• Accepts light traffic after 48hrs @23°C (100µm dft)
• Theoretical Coverage: 10 sq/mt per litre
• Available in 4 litre size kits and 16 litre size kits.
• This 16 litre kits consists of 12 x litres clear primer sealer + 4 litre hardener (16 litres in total)
• This 16 litre kit will cover 160 sq/mt approx giving 1 coat.

Application Conditions

The concrete surface must be dry and at least 12 weeks old. The moisture content of the concrete should not exceed 6% when measured 25mm below the surface (with e.g. a Protimeter measuring in 25mm drilled holes filled with gel), or 14% when measured with a surface moisture gauge (such as a Protimeter WME (Wood Moisture Equivalent) gauge). Only apply in conditions of good ventilation which must be maintained during drying and curing. Do not apply when rain, mist, sleet or snow are imminent. During application and drying time of the paint coating, the surface should be dry, the Relative Humidity should not exceed 85% and the substrate temperature should remain at least 3oC above the dew point. Paint temperature should ideally be at a minimum of 15ºC.
