3M Performance Spray Gun System with PPS

Designed for the modern professional painter, 3M™ Performance Spray Gun is our first ever spray gun designed specifically to save you time while delivering top-of-the-line performance.

After a decade of research and development, working with auto body painters all around the world, 3M is rewriting the rules on spray gun technology. Delivering precision performance, lightweight durable design, and an innovative nozzle system that makes cleanup and changeovers faster than ever before. It’s a difference you will see and feel — both in your hand, and in the quality and efficiency of your paint jobs. All to improve your cycle times, so you can do more of what you love: painting.

Precision Performance: With high transfer efficiency, a large, adjustable fan pattern and smooth trigger pull, it’s everything you’d expect from your best metal spray gun — just smarter. Our patent-pending replaceable nozzle system comes in six sizes from 1.2 to 2.0 to spray a full range of high-performance automotive coatings, including solid colors, pearls, metallics, clear coats, sealers and primers. And the quick-turn locking collar secures the nozzle to the spray gun body, so you can feel confident that it’ll stay put and spray strong.

Improved cycle times: The best of form and function meets unrivaled productivity and more efficient use of your time. The 3M™ Performance Spray Gun is the smarter way to spray.

Faster Cleanup: With an integrated system that includes quick-change replaceable nozzles and 3M™ PPS™ Series 2.0 Spray Cups, paint never passes through the spray gun body. Which means: no more paint gunking up internal components, no more disassembling your spray gun or soaking in solvent, no more cross contamination putting your job at risk.

Lightweight and Durable: When you spend your whole day painting, a spray gun should feel like a natural extension of your hand – not an anchor that drags you down. By engineering the spray gun body from an impact-resistant, stainless steel-reinforced composite material, we reduced its weight by up to 50% compared to traditional metal spray guns without compromising durability.

Designed for comfort: From the body to the trigger, the 3M™ Performance Spray Gun was optimized by kinesiologists to fit comfortably in your hand, all while delivering best-in-class spray performance.
