Description
Barpimo® 2K Water Base Food Safe Epoxy Floor Paint is ultra tough and durable and is designed for the effective protection of all kinds of surfaces exposed to aggressive elements and chemicals. Especially suitable in areas with poor ventilation due to the low odour characteristics of the product. Recommended for use in industrial catering areas, kitchens in general and in hospital and medical facilities.

- Excellent on concrete and cement floors.
- Easy to apply with good covering and filling power.

- Resistant to abrasion, to wear, mopping, oil spills, mineral oil and other chemical agents and dirt in general.
- Eliminates the formation of dust on the floor, improves surface hardness, avoids erosion and wear and tear making the floor easier to clean.
Drying and repainting times.
- Recoatable – 24 hours minimum dependent upon temperature / humidity and maximum 72 hours.
- Dry to the touch at 20ºC 3-4 hours depending on thickness applied.
- Walkability 2-3 days for human and light machinery transit.
- 1 week for heavy machinery vehicles transit.

How to apply
Stir the contents of the pot well. Prepare the amount to be used. Shake until completely mixed. Product is supplied in 2 containers – Component A (Paint) and Component B (hardener K0820) Mix proportion (by volume): 8 parts of A” and 1 parts of “B”.” and on the first coat thin 5 to 10 % with clean water. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before using. Use with 3 max hours at 20 ºC. Apply in well ventilated area and in thin, even coats. Repaintable after 24 hours.
Kits Contain:
- An 18kg Kit consists of 16kg Epoxy Floor paint + 2 litre of Epoxy hardener K0820 (18kg total) and will cover 90 to 144 square metres approximately giving 1 coat.
- A 4.5kg Kit consists of 4kg Epoxy Floor paint + 500ml of Epoxy hardener K0820 (4.5kg total) and will cover 22.5to 36 square metres approximately giving 1 coat.
